The NTOA is excited to announce this two-day virtual workshop for Public Order Grenadiers. This workshop is designed for law enforcement personnel responsible for the direct management, supervision or instruction of Public Order personnel who are assigned to deploy less-lethal impact munitions, chemical agents and distraction devices in a protest environment.

This workshop will expose law enforcement Public Order grenadier instructors and supervisors to contemporary public order use-of-force issues, tactics and less-lethal philosophy. Topics include less-lethal options, program development, weapon selection, de-escalation tactics, decision-making, policy considerations, crowd management theories, documentation, legal issues and operational considerations.

This workshop is designed to be interactive between the presenters and participants. Each student must register and have their own computer to log in.
