In light of recent incidents and pending investigations involving the SIG Sauer P320 and variants (M-17/M-18), and out of an abundance of caution, the NTOA has implemented the following safety-based restriction:
Effective immediately, the SIG Sauer P320 pistol and all its variant models are prohibited from being carried, used, or present at any NTOA-hosted training course, event, or program.
This precautionary measure is being taken solely in the interest of protecting the safety of our members, students, instructors, and training partners. This action should not be considered nor interpreted as a final position on the safety of the Sig Sauer P320/M-17/M-18. The NTOA is aware that multiple investigations are currently underway.
This policy will remain in effect until the safety concerns surrounding the platform have been adequately addressed and resolved to the satisfaction of the NTOA.
