When and where will the 2017 Tactical Conference be held?

The 2017 Tactical Operations Conference and Trade Show will be held in Phoenix, Arizona, on Sept. 24-29, 2017.

What are the onsite registration hours and location for attendees?

Onsite registration will take place in Exhibit Hall D foyer located on the 3rd floor of the North Hall of the Phoenix Convention Center.

Hours:
Saturday: 1400-1800
Sunday: 0800-1700

What are the Trade Show days, hours and location?

Trade show hours are as follows:

September 24, 2017 11:00am – 6:00pm

September 25, 2017 10:00am – 5:00pm

How do I contact my instructor if I have a question about class?

You may go to the student registration desk or the NTOA office and provide your identification so that your registration can be confirmed. Staff will then be able to provide you information to contact your instructor.

If I have my own car, can I drive to the training site or do I need to ride the bus?

You may drive directly to the training site. The addresses will be located in the conference app, under each specific track. Please be aware that many tracks change locations each day.

What equipment do I need to bring to conference?

Please click on the “Courses” tab, and then scroll down to the “Practical Tracks” section and click on the specific course you are interested in.

I am a substitution/replacement for someone who has already registered, what do I need to do?

If you will be taking the exact same courses as the person you are replacing, complete steps 1-4 of the registration form. When you get to step 5, you will not need to register for any classes. Select that you are paying by purchase order and submit your registration. You will need to send an email to Laura@ntoa.org stating the name of the person you are replacing.

Can law enforcement, military or first responders walk the trade show for no charge?

Yes. Please go to the student registration desk and provide your government identification. NTOA staff will provide a pass to allow you access to the trade show. You may also attend the trade show seminars that are inside the trade show. Attendance is first-come, first-served.

Who can submit a workshop proposal for the NTOA Conference and how do I submit one?

Anyone can submit a proposal. You may email Laura Gerhart and ask that the proposal link be sent to you.
