Conference FAQs

I am a substitution/replacement for someone who has already registered, what do I need to do?

Please click on this link and register the person who will be attending the conference. At the bottom of Step 4 under Payment Selection, you will be asked “Why is this registration complimentary?” You will select “Replacement” and type in the name of the person you are replacing.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Laura Gerhart at 719-419-6918

Do I need to register online for the seminars and incident debriefs?

Yes, you do need to register for seminar or debriefs at the Kansas City Conference.

When and where will the 2021 Tactical Conference be held?

The 2021 Law Enforcement Operations Conference and Trade Show will be held in Kansas City, MO September 12-17, 2021.

What are the onsite registration hours and location for attendees?

Onsite registration will take place in the Kansas City Convention Center

Saturday: 1400-1800
Sunday: 0800-1700

What are the Trade Show days, hours and location?

Trade show hours and setup hours are as follows:
Sunday – September 12, 2021 – 11:00am – 5:00pm
Monday – September 13, 2021 – 10:00am – 5:00pm

Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 – 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM (Large Exhibitor Move-In Only)
Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021 – 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021 – 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM

How do I contact my instructor if I have a question about class?

You may go to the student registration desk or the NTOA office and provide your identification so that your registration can be confirmed. Staff will then be able to provide you information to contact your instructor.

Can law enforcement, military or first responders walk the trade show for no charge?

Yes. Please go to the student registration desk and provide your government identification. NTOA staff will provide a pass to allow you access to the trade show. You may also attend the trade show seminars that are inside the trade show. Attendance is first-come, first-served.

Who can submit a workshop proposal for the NTOA Conference and how do I submit one?

Anyone can submit a proposal. You may email Laura Gerhart and ask that the proposal link be sent to you.
