1. OPEN COURSE
The requesting
agency co-hosts the training by providing
the facilities for classroom and practical
training. The Co-host also provides
marketing support in the form of teletypes,
emails, mailings, and faxes as available. In
return for this support, the NTOA provides
the Co-host with complimentary slots in the
training. Any sworn law enforcement officer
may register for the course.
Pre-registration is required, and the NTOA
posts the course to the NTOA website
training calendar and The Tactical Edge. The
NTOA handles all registrations and collects
all fees, charged on a per-student basis.
2. CLOSED COURSE
The
requesting agency co-hosts the training by
providing the facilities for classroom and
practical training. The Co-host Agency
agrees to pay the fee for the total cost of
the course. The Co-host is invoiced
approximately 30 days prior to the course
start, and the invoice must be paid within
30 days of the course completion. The course
will not be listed on the NTOA website nor
will it be advertised by any other means.
All slots will be filled by the co-host or
its assigns. Pre-registration is not
required; however, the co-host is asked to
submit a roster of students two weeks prior
to course start.
