COVID-19 – Update on NTOA training
In light of the national pandemic that our country is facing, I wanted to share the National Tactical Officers Association’s current approach to this dynamic challenge. We are mindful that this is an unprecedented event in scope, seriousness, and uncertainty. It is our goal to continue to offer our critical operational training as currently scheduled while balancing it with the most recent Center for Disease Control (CDC) directives. We are striving for a reasoned balance between the access to vital training and the safety of our members.
- All of our available training can be viewed on our website, which is updated daily (every 45 minutes) and can be considered an accurate reflection of the course status.
- We will be working closely with our host agencies to ensure that class formats are conducive to social distancing (6 feet) and providing hand sanitizers/disinfectant.
- If you are currently scheduled to attend any NTOA class or conference, and it is canceled, you will receive an email notification advising of the cancellation. Every effort will be made to inform registrants of any cancellations as early as possible.
- Given the uncertainty surrounding us all, and understanding that many decisions regarding class attendance may be made at the last minute, the NTOA is waiving any cancellation fees during this crisis. OUT OF RESPECT AND FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND A CLASS IF YOU ARE SICK OR EXHIBITING ANY SIGNS OF ILLNESS! We will work with any registrant to re-schedule at a later date.
Thank you all for your understanding and support. Please stay safe and continue to take care of yourselves and your loved ones.
